If Search Engines don't know what you'll see how can they Rank the Page

Dynamic content can often harm the search engine optimisation efforts firms' websites already have in place, an expert has claimed.

Cheryl, writing for Stuck On, has highlighted the fact that by incorporating this type of material some search engines can have problems indexing the pages.

The fact that the content on a page changes depending on the viewer means that the spiders operating for sites such as Google will be unable to determine what page will appear for users, she asserted.

She added: "Sites with large amounts of dynamic content are at more risk of communication problems with the search engines. Your site's position in the search engine results depends on its ability to communicate clearly with the search engines."

The blogger claimed that anything which puts this into jeopardy harms search engine optimisation for the firm and can effectively hinder the website.

In contrast, fellow Stuck On blogger Matt has highlighted the importance of incorporating elements of social media networks on to a companies' website in order to maximise its attractiveness to this demographic.

He said including social bookmarking buttons, fresh content and the ability to forward on stories are all key additions that can achieve this.
