Are you keeping up with Market Trends in Social Media Usage?
The iPhone's managed emarketing appears to have paid off, as it has been placed in the poll position in this year's Vitrue 100.
It beat the likes of Disney, CNN, MTV and the National Basketball Association to the top spot in the list, which aims to emphasise those brands that are proving to be the most aware in terms of social media advertising.
According to Vitrue - a social media management business that offers technology solutions - its rundown is also designed to "demonstrate the value" of this technique to firms, something that seems to be of growing interest to enterprises in the industry.
The company cited figures from eMarketer, which indicated that the number of those in the Fortune 500 not incorporating social methods in their campaigns has fallen from 43 per cent to nine per cent.
In terms of the coming year, Vitrue observed that the social sphere is increasingly being added "as a foundation" in the advertising sphere but that marketers will need to have the platforms in place "to manage their increasingly robust presences".
Furthermore, it was pointed out that Facebook URLs are now being used in place of websites for calls to action, as is Twitter.
