Those using Google Images can now utilise a new search options panel in order to refine their results, it has been announced.
Introduced to the main search page a few months ago, the advanced settings enable give users easier access to settings that adjust
their search parameters, something that may interest a search engine optimisation firm.
Clicking on the 'shop options' link in the blue bar on the search results page brings up the ability to search for an image by colour -
such as those only in black and white or images that contain a specific shade - or type.
The ability to search for image sizes has also been added, giving the ability to find pictures of exact dimensions.
Noting that the new panel "makes it faster and easier to combine and toggle between options", Google said that the change means
further alterations will now be more straightforward, hinting at more new options to come.
The launch follows the introduction of new Google AdWords software, which had been in public testing since November of last year.
Users can use performance graphs to analyse trends and manage spreadsheets of keywords with the updated version.
