The benefits of some web changes may not be immediately obvious.

Users of Google AdWords have been offered a number of top tips on how to make their data load more quickly, after developers undertook some website maintenance.

The changes make the most of Google Gears, which enables associated data to be stored within an individual's computer, making it easily accessible.

Each time a new AdWord is logged, the data will be loaded directly from the computer, which ensures the process is more streamlined.

Users will no longer have to wait for information to be downloaded from Google servers and are also assured that data will never become outdated.

While a person is working with AdWords, the latest statistics will be accumulated by Google. However, clicks from the past three hours may not be automatically displayed.

There is also an element of privacy built into the product, as the information stored on Google Gears cannot be accessed by other computer users who log in through different usernames.

AdWords is a service which enables online advertisements to be created, which are then distributed over a network of partner websites.

Subscribers are able to see how effective their strategies are by looking at graphs and other performance data.
