How successful will Buzz be - is the market too crowded already?
Google's Buzz initiative - the company's latest movement in the social networking sphere - has now been added to its real-time search results pages.
Such a development may benefit internet marketing consultants and others who intend to advertise their brands and merchandise on Buzz, as - Amit Singhal of Google observed in a post on the official blog - real-time is about "what's happening right now".
This, Mr Singal continued, also includes webpage alterations, the most up-to-date news articles, new microblogging content and other fresh blog posts.
Because of this, he said, "it only seemed natural to include Buzz".
Mr Singal went on to detail the benefits of using Buzz, stating that it is a different way for people to begin conversing about subjects that are interesting to them, while being able to share pictures, videos and other updates in Googlemail.
Buzz itself was introduced to the internet earlier this month, with product manager Todd Jackson noting that the program uses the social network already in existence on Googlemail to the fore.
In addition, Mr Jackson stated that it can be used on mobile devices in a number of ways, including on Google Maps for mobile, by tagging posts with geographical information, such as "where were you when you shared this?".
