Search engine giant Google has launched a new tool designed specifically for retail websites.
Called Commerce Search, the offering will enable firms to offer customers enhanced means of locating their goods and services.
Businesses that buy the tool will be able to provide web users with more accurate results when they enter their sites to look items up and pricing, which starts at $50,000 (£29,793), is based on the number of items on retail sites.
The service has been designed to integrate with the search engine's other enterprise tools, such as Google Analytics, and it carries built-in features including a spell-check and suggestions to help consumers find items.
Google enterprise president Dave Girouard remarked: "To date, the technology powering retail web site stores has not kept pace with innovation in search.
"Commerce Search will help customers find accurate results extremely fast, to the benefit of retailers and customers alike."
According to the search engine, the tool has been created to meet the needs of commercial search and customer queries.
Recently, Google launched a Social Search service, which enables users to find blogs and other content that have been published on the web by friends and associates.
