More news of Google's new analytics features 23/10/2008 The new look web service, which was unveiled at the eMetrics Summit in Washington on Tuesday, contains a range of features designed to allow users to analyse data in different ways.
Integration with Google AdSense is one of the main talking points of the improved Google Analytics.

The company said this would enable AdSense customers to further break down results to analyse by referring site, as well as page, in order to build up a more detailed profile of users' habits.

Search engine optimisation firms using the package will also be able to take advantage of a custom reporting function to help them analyse results, together with advanced segmentation which will allow them to examine specific sections of web traffic.

Motion charts are another of the enterprise-class features provided by the new service and Google claims the animated multi-dimensional data analysis tool will "make discovering insights much easier and more obvious than when viewing data in traditional graphs and columns".

The announcement comes just weeks after Google unveiled its AdSense for Games tool, which is designed to help marketers reach the online gaming community.
