Capgemini join the companies using online video 22/10/2008 The use of video in viral campaigns continues to grow.
Thierry Velut, a brand manager with the technology consulting company Capgemini, said that their new video viral campaign will extend the interest in thier brand strapline in an entertaining way.

The videos will be placed in blogs and forums as well as specialist video websites such as YouTube and Dailymotion. Apparently the videos illustrate unexpected office behaviour presented in the guise of news reports - be prepared for some strange ways of communicating.

The intended message of the campaign is that Capgemini helps its clients to achieve maximum contribution from its people and increase their potential.

The videos will be followed, a month later, by complementary video banners specifically targeting the IT sector.  The video campaign is also designed to be complementary to an existing press, poster and web campaign.

Those companies who think that video is only useful in addressing the consumer market should note that Capgemini's market is large private and public sector organisations.
