Description of the Living Streams Toolbar

Introduction

The primary purpose of this toolbar is to provide its users with easy targeted access to the business news content on the living-streams.co.uk website.  It's advantage over subscribing to the RSS feeds is it's ability to find particular information and take you directly to it and it is far easier to implement for non-technical people. 

It also provides several other significantly useful features as described below.

Scroll Ticker

News article titles scroll from right to left.  Move your cursor over the text and it stops scrolling.  Click a title and a new tab/window will open on the page with the full article.

News Category Pages

The pull down menu to the right of the loudhailer image lists the main news categories.  Click one and it takes you to the page that lists and links to all current news articles in that category.

News Feed

The dropdown to the right of the 'News Feed' image gives access to the Living Streams' News Article (Titles) and Twitter RSS feeds.

Mouseover the 'Tweets' line and a listing appears - any time can be clicked to see the full Tweet.

Similarly, mouseover the 'News Article' line of the dropdown to see a list of the latest News Article titles:  Click any to see the full article.
